Scholarship for BC Public Servants Applying to UBC's Advanced Professional Certificate in BI

To meet the increasing demand for behavioural insights knowledge and skills in the public service and beyond, the BC Behavioural Insights Group (BC BIG) partnered with UBC’s Decision Insights for Business & Society (UBC-DIBS) and a nationwide steering committee to develop UBC's Advanced Professional Certificate in Behavioural Insights.

Why should BC Public Servants apply for the Advanced Professional Certificate?

Do you want to increase your strategic impact by using the science of BI to make evidence-based policy decisions? The discipline of BI draws on decision and behavioural science (from psychology, economics, consumer behaviour, and related fields) to improve decision-making in ways that promote individual and collective “health, wealth, and happiness”.

The Advanced Professional Certificate in Behavioural Insights is rigorous BI practitioner training designed to give you the knowledge and skills to design and evaluate BI solutions in your work. BI practitioners working in the public sector have saved time, money, and lives with the interventions implemented across all policy areas.

When should I apply to the Advanced Professional Certificate?

The early bird deadline is May 31 and the late deadline is June 30. Spots are limited so apply early! For program and application details, visit https://sauder.ubc.ca/cbs-bi. If you have questions about the program, please email DIBS@sauder.ubc.ca.
